Location: Valley City, ND
Duration: 12 months on W2 Contract.
First Shift | Mon-Thur, 6:00am-4:30pm. Friday and Saturday are OT as needed.
100% onsite from day one
Metatarsals required for first day
- Seeking hands on factory experience inspecting parts, reading prints, and troubleshooting quality related issues.
- Ability to read prints and troubleshoot daily assembly quality issues driving for root cause analysis using 8D principles.
- Track nonconformance issues through the Client corrective action process.
- QE to monitor the factory for quality issues on the production line, root cause and interacting with the operations team for resolution.
Years of Experience Required: 3-5
Skills/ Experience:
- Should have hands on factory experience inspecting parts, reading prints, and troubleshooting quality related issues
- Ability to think critically and solve problems analytically
- Ability to solve problems by determining root cause and driving corrective action
- Strong computer skills, including Excel
- Ability to analyze large amounts of data
- Ability to interact with multiple engineering areas to resolve problems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize a large number of tasks
- 8D / Six Sigma
- Engineering degree
Preferred:
- Mechanical, or industrial engineering degree- Manager is not open to recent grads. He would like someone to have at least 3 years of experience.
Education Preferred:
- B.S. Engineering – Industrial, Ag, Mechanical, Manufacturing
Top three skill set:
- Six sigma certifications
- Previous experience in Manufacturing
- Background in quality.
